After exploring Moorea on our own we took a 4x4 Safari tour with a tour company. One of the most exciting things we did at Moorea. Also one of my favorite photo sessions on our whole trip. We took a hike up the dead volcano which gave us an awesome view of the two bays.
Then we went down to a ceremonial site which had lots of chickens!
After visiting the ceremony site, we headed over to a pineapple, flower, and papaya plantation. However along the way we got a special guest that trailed us and ate pineapples!
Before reaching the pineapple/papaya plantation we stopped by a flower garden.
A real live orchid!! It was one of best surprises Michelle and I had. We both love orchids so seeing one in the wild was a treat.
My beautiful wife :)So here's the pineapple papaya pictures. We both snickered when we heard that pineapple and papaya's grew together on the same island. (Michelle is the pineapple and I'm the papaya). Anyways we found that pineapples grew on bushes and papayas grew wayyy up in trees. It was pretty funny because people usually think pineapples grow on trees.
